Huck Finn essay

Should huck Finn be taught in chs?
No, I do not think Finn should be taught in school because of its language and its use of racism.

My first reason why I think huck Finn should not be taught in chs is because of its language. The author has and interesting style of writing. I think his purpose was to brink back the language from the time in the book. Although his writing is interesting and creative; it still very hard to understand. Another reason why the language is a bad advantage to the story is because so much time is spent on trying to read and understand the language rather than enjoying the book.

My second reason why huck Finn should not be taught in chs is because of the racism used in the book. Although the author might have just been trying to bring the vibe of racism used back in the time the story took place, it still might and is very offensive to some people. I think the author could have easily wrote a note to his writers in the front of the book telling how his purpose of the racism in his novel was not meant to offend anyone but only to create a wonderful book.

In conclusion I think the story huck Finn should not be taught in chs because of the hard to understand language and the use of racism.
